This is a critical point for those on the receiving end of public sector predictive analytics ie child welfare, criminal justice system, immigration, homeless services etc. the asymmetry of data collected in predominantly low SES PoC populations and their access to understanding the way personal information is being processed is a key ethical issue for AI and blockchain. Social justice/advocacy organizations typically do not understand the nuances of this technology to even include the privacy concerns in their political agenda. Great article, thank you for writing!
